Major Brad White, Chief Deputy

Second in command under Sheriff Larry Waller is Chief Deputy, Major Brad White.  Major White oversees the day to day operations of all divisions of the Lamar County Sheriff's Office.   This includes Uniform Patrol, Criminal Investigations, Administrative Services, Jail and E-911.

Major White, a life-long resident of Lamar County, began his career in law enforcement as a Jailer in neighboring Upson County in 1995.  Major White has since served in positions of increased responsibility with the Lamar County Sheriff's Office, Gordon Department of Public Safety and Milner Police Department.   Major White held the position of Chief Of Police for 2 years prior to returning to the Sheriff's Office in 2009.  Major White has accumulated over 300 hours of Executive Level Training, in management and supervision and is 
skilled in electronic technology and networking.
