The Law Enforcement Explorers Post 28 hosted the annual Guns Vs. Hoses charity basketball game on December 4th 2009. Players from the Lamar County Sheriff's Office, Barnesville Police Department, Milner Police Department, Gordon College Department of Public Safety, City and County Fire Departments and Mid Georgia Ambulance competed to raise money for the empty stocking fund.
