SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER
Lamar County Sheriff's Corporal Jeremy Roberts is the School Resource Officer (SRO) assigned to the Lamar County Comprehensive High School serving as a liaison between the Board of Education and the law enforcement community. He also has the additional important duty of overseeing the Law Enforcement Explorer unit.  Sponsored by the Lamar County Sheriff's Office and the Boy Scouts of America, students gain courage, discipline, respect, and knowledge through hand on training and learn different aspects of the Law Enforcement career.  The program is conducted by state certified, experienced officers teaching techniques in self defense, verbal judo, personal safety, first-aid and other classes useful in everyday life.

You can send an e-mail to Jeremy Roberts at jroberts@lamar.k12.ga.us.
